Walk the coastal path. Stand at the lagoon mouth. Drive Clarence Drive (R44) at least one way — it is one of the reasons people fall in love before they see a house. Eat fish near the harbour. If it is whale season, give the ocean an hour of your patience. If it is not, give the mountain an hour of your legs.
Add Betty's Bay for penguins or Harold Porter, Hermanus for a bigger town day, and Rooisand for horses if they are showing themselves. Then sit still. Kleinmond is not consumed. It is inhabited.
