Frequently asked questions

The questions people already bring to Johan — answered without a brochure smile.

Is Kleinmond a good place to live?

It is an excellent place to live if you want nature, a village scale, and a different pace — and if you accept wind, fewer amenities, and travel for some needs. It is a poor place to live if you need the city every day or dislike quiet Tuesdays.

Can I work remotely?

Many people do. Confirm fibre or LTE at the specific erf, keep a power plan, and visit during a working week, not only a long weekend. A beautiful Zoom background is not connectivity.

Is it only for retirees?

No. Retirees are visible because they have time on the path. Families, trades, hospitality, and remote professionals are here too. School and teenage social life still need a hard look.

Should I buy a holiday home as an investment?

Sometimes. Seasonality, management, insurance, and your need to use the house all change the maths. Start with how you want to live in it. Yield is a later conversation — see Investment Property.

How do I start?

Read, visit, then talk. Book a general Kleinmond conversation, a buyer consultation, or simply WhatsApp Johan. The website is the fire. The relationship is the hearth.
